10 April 2024

Unveiled on 4 April (link to Press Kit), New Renault Captur is already available for orders in France.

New Captur, the B-segment ‘voiture à vivre’

Launched in 2013, Captur has sold more than two million units in 90 countries around the world. Spacious and modular, it ships with a range of features tailored to customer lifestyles: the daily short-distance commute, leisure activities, weekend getaways and holidays.

Featuring a new, more dynamic design with an original, stylish front end, New Captur has undergone a transformation. It gains a new light signature, a multi-faceted grille with the Nouvel'R logo and a higher, more horizontal bonnet. The new front lights feature full LED technology as standard on all versions. The rear end also takes on a more contemporary look, with transparent rear light housings, a new logo and a redesigned diffuser. Inside, all the leather has been phased out. The new upholstery is based on recycled fabrics (over 26% on the Esprit Alpine version).

A major first in the B segment, New Captur ships with the OpenR Link multimedia system on the new 10.4-inch vertical touchscreen available on all versions. Users can take full advantage of exclusive interactive content and new services such as Google built-in with Android Automotive 12, available as standard from the Techno version. As well as being fully customisable, the interface is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for wired and wireless smartphone connectivity.

The new generation Captur includes as wide a range of customised features as its predecessor. Customers can choose from a broad selection of accessories and body colours: Pearl White, Oyster Grey, Starry Black, Gunmetal Grey, Iron Blue and Flame Red, along with the new shade of Gunmetal Grey. Available as an option, the two-tone colour scheme is popular with customers, who can select Highland Grey, Starry Black or the new Perle Grey-Beige shade for the roof and door mirrors.

Finally, New Captur is available from launch in a new finish: Esprit Alpine. Inspired by the Alpine brand, this version gives the design added character with its sporty looks.

A complete, efficient engine range at an attractive price

The entry-level price for New Captur is €24,900, or €210/month(1)(4) for the Evolution version. Prices start at €27,500, or €240/month(2)(4) for the Techno version, and €32,100, or €270/month(3)(4) for the Esprit Alpine version.

New Captur is available with the E-Tech full hybrid 145 bhp engine, which is now the preferred choice for more than 41% of customers. This engine achieves excellence in both fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions, at 4.6 litres/100 km and 105 g/km.

With the E-Tech full hybrid engine, the entry-level price of New Captur is €28,900, or €270/month(5)(8) for the Evolution version, €31,500, or €300/month(6)(8) for the Techno version, and €33,800, or €330/month(7)(8) for the Esprit Alpine version.

New Captur is also available with a dual-fuel petrol-LPG powertrain. A greener and more economical alternative, this engine cuts CO₂ emissions by around 10% compared with an equivalent petrol engine and offers a range of up to 1,100 km with its two tanks.

New Captur ships with a choice of four engines on the Evolution and Techno versions: TCe 90, TCe 100 LPG, TCe 160 EDC mild hybrid 12V, and E-Tech full hybrid 145.

The Esprit Alpine version ships with the TCe 160 EDC mild hybrid 12V and E-Tech full hybrid 145 engines.
