Special edition E-Tech engineered: new style for a new life with Renault hybrid technology

As of June, Renault is introducing a special edition called "E-Tech engineered", available only with E-Tech Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid engines on Arkana, Megane Hatchback and Estate, Clio and Captur models.

The E-Tech engineered special edition draws on the design of All-new Megane E-Tech Electric gives a modern twist to the four passenger vehicles already available on the European and International markets.

The E-tech engineered special edition leverages all the strengths and equipment that were behind the success of the R.S. Line trim while giving it a fresh design that embraces the high-end, sporty colours and materials that a more in line with current trends.

A HIGH-END, SPORTY LOOK

On the outside, the special edition design features Warm Titanium highlights on parts such as the F1® blade located on the lower front bumper, the side and rear lower-body ornamentation, and rim markings. Another distinctive feature is the brand’s iconic diamond-shaped logo and model lettering in shiny black that are placed on the front and back of each vehicle. The overall look is finished by a new E-Tech Hybrid or Plug-In Hybrid badge mounted on the rear hatch door as a marker that is common to all Renault’s electrified vehicles. One final feature is the special editions bold, yet stylish graphic label located on the driver door. The various vehicles come in a range of body colours.

Inside, we find the same desire to give the design a sense of visual unity and character through the Warm Titanium stitching on the upholstery and gold decorative highlights on the dashboard and air vents. The steering wheel features the letter ‘E’ as E-Tech signature. The door sills also feature a visual design that reflects the label located on the vehicle’s exterior. These new details give the whole design a more elegant look.

A pioneer in electric vehicles for more than 10 years, Renault continues to ensure its know-how to serve as many as possible leveraging universally accessible mobility solutions. In its efforts to meet the needs of all, Renault has developed two types of engines: E-Tech Hybrid and E-Tech Plug-In Hybrid.

FIRST ORDERS FOR FRANCE

Starting in June, the E-Tech Engineered finish will be available in France for Clio, Arkana, Megane (estate and hatchback). Orders for Captur will open at a later date.
