For greater driving pleasure from low speeds and lively pick-up, the Blue dCi engines on Scenic and Grand Scenic deliver maximum torque of 300 Nm from 1,500 rpm for the Blue dCi 120 and 340 Nm from 1,750 rpm for the Blue dCi 150. Compared with the previous generation of dCi engines, maximum torque has been increased by 40 Nm for the Blue dCi 120 and 20 Nm for the Blue dCi 150. Maximum torque is also available over a broader operating range. In addition to driving pleasure, the Blue dCi engine offers seamless operation thanks to the 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Fuel consumption and CO2 emissions have been optimized thanks to the Blue dCi engine and SCR system for the post-treatment of nitrogen oxide. The combined-cycle WLTP consumption of Renault Scenic Blue dCi 120 EDC is 4.7 liters/100 km and that of Renault Scénic Blue dCi 150 4.8 liters/100 km.

(1) NEDC BT vlow figure applicable in France until December 31, 2019.
NEDC BT definition: On September 1, 2018, the WLTP procedure entirely replaced the previous test procedure, the new European driving cycle (NEDC). As the test conditions are more realistic, the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions measured using the WLTP procedure are in many cases higher than those measured using the NEDC procedure.
