Ouest-France adopts the Renault MOBILITY car-sharing service

08 June 2017

  • A fleet of twelve Renault car-sharing vehicles has been placed at the disposal of employees of the Ouest-France group in Rennes.

Rennes, June 8, 2017 – Renault and the Ouest-France group have signed a contract to provide a Renault MOBILITY car-sharing service at the group’s head office in Rennes as a first step. A fleet of twelve vehicles from city cars to MPVs will be made available to employees for professional use.

“This service addresses the need to adapt fleet management for our employees,” says Philippe Toulemonde, Assistant Managing Director of the Ouest-France group.

“Renault MOBILITY has a different vision of vehicle use. It’s based on the principle of sharing, so the company can optimize use of its fleet,” says Benoit Alleaume, Renault Director of Fleet Sales.

With Renault MOBILITY, vehicles can be reserved from a dedicated website or from a smartphone. The car is unlocked with the same smartphone or with a company badge. When employees use the vehicles for their business travel requirements, the cost is billed directly to the company. Employees can also be allowed to use these vehicles for their personal requirements outside working hours, in which case they will be billed directly.
