KANGOO PASSES THE EURO NCAP 2021 TEST WITH SUCCESS
On sale since June 2021, the New Kangoo meets the needs of families and dynamic tribes with space, volume and modularity. Safety is not forgotten, with a reinforced body structure, new driving aids and airbags for all. The New Kangoo has been awarded 4 stars in the Euro NCAP tests based on the more stringent 2020 protocol. This score places Renault's latest combispace at the top of the segment.
ENHANCED OCCUPANT PROTECTION, OPTIMAL FOR CHILDREN
The New Kangoo stands out for its six airbags, seatbelt pretensioner and force limiter system and three Isofix anchor points on the front passenger and rear side seats. Euro NCAP rates the stability of the cabin structure and the good protection of occupants during crash tests. On the 6- and 10-year-old dummies, protection is optimal in all body segments. The New Kangoo achieves the highest score in the category.
INCREASING THE SAFETY OF ALL ROAD USERS
In terms of active safety equipment, Euro NCAP highlights the effectiveness of the Active Emergency Braking for cyclists, pedestrians, and vehicles, both day and night, by warning the driver to the risk of collision. It also highlights the usefulness of new equipment such as the Lane Keeping Assist and the Speed Warning with Traffic Sign Recognition, in addition to the Cruise Control and Speed Limiter (with Hill-Descent Control).
With the New Kangoo, Renault provides the latest standard equipment for enhanced safety of its occupants and all road users.
