Herbert Steiner joins Renault Group

Herbert Steiner reports hierarchically to Thierry Charvet, EVP industry & quality of Renault Group, and functionally to Fabrice Cambolive, CEO of Renault brand. He becomes a member of the Renault brand management committee.

Herbert Steiner, 50 years old, is graduated from the Technical University of Graz, Austria. He joined the Volkswagen Group in 1997 where he held various international positions for twenty-five years. He worked in controlling, project management and sourcing in his early years of career. In 2010, Herbert Steiner was promoted CEO of SEAT Components and then EVP engines business of AUDI Hungary in 2014. In 2018, he was appointed VP engine and foundry business of the Volkswagen Group. Since 2020, Herbert Steiner has been EVP production and logistics SEAT S.A.
