05 July 2022

The French Tennis Federation (FFT) is organising the inaugural Greenweez Paris Premier Padel Major at the Roland-Garros stadium, taking place from the 11th to the 17th of July 2022.

‍In this context, the history between Renault and the French Tennis Federation is taking a new impulse as Renault becomes official partner of the Parisian Major of the Premier Padel international circuit.

RENAULT X PADEL

After the great success of the collaboration during the last Roland-Garros tournament, Renault decided to team up with the French Tennis Federation on another racked sport: padel. A young, fun, trending, and up-and-coming discipline, which is gaining momentum counting on always more players, fans, and international tournaments all around the globe.

Starting from the 2022 edition, and with an initial duration of three years, Renault will become official partner of the tournament for the first year and scale up to Premium Partner for the coming years, in 2023 and 2024.

AN ELECTRIC PARTNERSHIP

As official mobility partner, Renault will provide a fleet of 20 all-new Renault Megane E-Tech electric to the Greenweez Paris Premier Padel Major, as part of the total 30 vehicles fleet used to transfer players and their teams and officials.

During the tournament week, the brand will also count on a 150sqm booth in the Roland-Garros stadium alleys, where visitors will be able to find all-new Renault Megane E-Tech electric, Renault 5 Prototype, and all-new Renault Austral SUV, including the Esprit Alpine version.

RENAULT LOGO GOES UP TO THE NET

For the Greenweez Paris Premier Padel Major, the Roland-Garros stadium will transform itself, passing from the iconic red clay to the artificial grass and metal mesh and glass panels. Six padel courts will be installed, including the main one on the Court Philippe Chatrier. Courts 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 will also be used to host matches.

As part of this new collaboration, Renault logo will be displayed on the nets and side panels of the main courts throughout the entire tournament.
